handicraft is constantly monitoring and improving our product listings. To observe to our rules and regulations, you are to ensure all products listed are not part of our prohibited and restricted list. You will also need to ensure that your product complies with all applicable laws of India.

Please ensure that your listing is according to these guidelines. If any product listing is found to be against these guidelines, it may be removed, and you may be subject to a range of other actions, including revoking your buying or selling privileges on www.handicraftbazarindia.com and including but not limited to the suspension/deletion of your account and sometimes criminal charges or claim for damages as well.

Below is the list of products that are prohibited for sale on www.handicraftbazarindia.com. The products may be listed here due to illegality or endangerment causes and also if the products falls under the prohibited list according to respective handicraft venture policy, which may be amended with or without prior notice to Sellers and Buyers alike. This is by no means an exhaustive list but it gives an indication of the type of products that should not be sold on www.handicraftbazarindia.com. Harmful virus/software designed to create virus or bring harm to any electronic devices

Firearms, tasers, air gun or other controlled or banned weapons, ammunitions, supplies or parts, Rambo knives, daggers or flick knives

Knuckle dusters, small axe, sword, keris, parang, baton

Tear gas sprays, bulletproof vest

Spear or spearhead

Cross Bow

Any product or items classified as ‘Military Use Only’ by the Indian government

Dual use items (Dual-use items have a primary commercial/civil application but have also have the potential for military or weapons applications)

Health Supplements

Health Supplements must not bear claims capable of curing, treating or preventing disease

Products must not contain illegal ingredients as per listed by India Ministry of Health

Any drugs or pharmaceutical products listed as controlled medication under the country’s Poisons Act 1952

Cosmetic products which do not meet the requirements in Section 18A of Control of Drugs and Cosmetics Regulation 1984

Fireworks/Explosives

Fireworks or pyrotechnic devices or supplies. Includes gunpowder, blasting powder, coloured fires, fulminate of mercury or other metals. Purpose or effect of producing a practical explosion includes fog signals, percussion caps, cartridges, ammunition and adaptation or preparation of an explosive.

Publications or printed material

Pornography and pornographic materials

Indecent printings, paintings, photographs, books, cards, lithographic, engravings, films, video tapes, laser discs, colour slides, computer disc and any other media which are deemed to be indecent and offensive

Any publications which intended to be prejudicial to the interest of India or unsuited with peace

Seditious Materials

Uttering, printing, publishing or importing seditious literature that brings into hatred or contempt or disaffection against any ruler, religion or against any government.

Any wearable cloth bearing the imprint or duplicate of any verses of any religion.

Adult Toys (permissible with conditions)

No life-like elements. Any resemblance to realistic human features, skin colour or any male or female body parts

Pirated Publications

Pirated software, music, films and software used for illegal and anti-social activities

Reproduction of any currency note, bank note, or coin which are currently been issued in any country

Replica and name brand ‘knock-off’ or counterfeit goods

Animals and Plant

Marine, live endangered etc. plants (wild, rare, etc. except seeds)

Drugs

Raw Opium, coca leaves, poppy straw and cannabis

Poisons, pharmaceuticals or any other controlled substances and illegal drugs

Unregistered drugs under The Control of Drugs and Cosmetics Regulations 1984

Drugs which do not meet requirements in Section 10 of Sale of Drugs Act 1952

Adulterated drugs

Psychotropic substance as listed in Third Schedule of Poisons Act 1952 (revised 1989)

Wi-Fi Hackers (Wi-Fi adapters with password deciphering capabilities, which can be used to unlawfully use internet connection)

Cell/Mobile phone jammers

Wireless CCTV operating outside the allocated frequency band (2400-2500MHz, 5150-5350MHz and 5725-5875MHz)

Radio Scanners

Toy walkie-talkies which interfere with the communication of genuine walkie-talkies

FM radio operating outside the allocated frequency of 87.5-108MHz

TV Receive Only (TVRO) equipment (example: parabolic satellite dishes)

Unauthorized subscription TV decoders (example: unauthorized ASTRO decoders)

Gaming, Gambling, MLM etc.

Good related to gambling, money laundering, pyramid schemes or other illegal or antisocial activities

Goods or products which are of proceeds of an unlawful activity in violation of Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-. Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001

Sodium arsenate

Intoxicating liquor containing any lead or compound of lead or more than 3.46 milligrams per litre, whether in the form of copper or any compound of copper

Lightning arresters containing radioactive material

Stolen property and property with removed serial numbers.  We strictly forbid the sale of stolen property, which violates the law. We strongly support law enforcement efforts to recover stolen property that is listed on our Website, and urge the prosecution of those responsible for knowingly attempting to sell such items.
